A very green shamrock was created with cutting stripes of pulled glass.
The glass is chipped and crushed then laid into a pot. fired to a high temp of 900 degrees until it is like a syrupy consistency. The hot glass then falls through a hole in the kiln where I pull it and form it into shapes. when cooled it is cut into segments and layered onto clear glass, each segment is unique as you will see from the stunning colours it shows.
It's again fired in the kiln at a lower temp of 620 so they fuse together.
Each piece placed has its unique look which will have you looking at this piece and finding new patterns in the glass.
Add some Irish Luck to your home.
