Grand for peeling and cutting softer foods but extremely difficult even for an adult never mind a child to use say on carrots and potatoes.

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear that you’re having difficulty using the tools on carrots and potatoes. I use these tools all the time in preschools and the thing we most often peel and chop is carrots. They do need a little bit of strength to be able to cut through a carrot but kids from age 4+ should be able to achieve this.
