Produced by out native Irish black honey bees at our honey farm. Our Ivy Blossom honey is collected by the bees in late September, October and November from the flowers of the ivy plant (yes, they do have flowers!) Customers find it really good for the respiratory system due to its qualities. Good alternative to manuka honey, it crystallises very quickly and is always packaged in this state. Collected by the bees from the same flowers as our wildflower honey. The difference is that we harvest and cut the combs straight from the hive, bypassing the extraction process. Consumers find that it can help with sinus issues. The honey just underneath the surface of the comb contains higher levels of pollen. It consists of honey from a variety of wild flower blossoms in the Irish countryside, including sycamore, horse chestnut, hawthorn, blackberry blossom and white clover. It is collected by the bees in late spring and summer. Every batch can be slightly different in flavour.

Our raw heather honey is highly prized. Our bees collect it from the Galtee Mountains. According to studies carried out in UCD, heather honey has higher polyphenols levels compared to manuka honey from New Zealand. It also has a lot less food miles. And it is – of course – unpasteurised.
