This sturdy durable hand embroidered black bag is useful and big enough for all your daily essentials. The strap is long so it can be cross-body or hung over your shoulder.
Due to the handmade nature of this item the embroidery colours and designs may vary slightly.
This bag is called Aman which means Water
This boho crossbody bag is handmade using poly cotton gabardine fabric for the outer layer with a black poly cotton lining and a preshrunk canvas interlining for added body and strength. The wool is acrylic and comes in a range of colours; some are neon, which is part of the tradition. Metal beads and sequins are added for extra bling and aesthetics. Tassels are synonymous with Moroccan textiles and they feature on my designs too.
Dimensions; 32 x 38 x 5 x 120 cms strap. (12.5 x 15 x 2 x 47 inches) Total length therefore is 98 cms (38.5 inches). The strap runs the full length of the bag, giving extra strength.
Care Instruction; Sponge any stains or marks with luke warm water. Dry out of direct sunlight. Press with a medium hot iron using a towel on the embroidered side. Do not use an iron directly on the embroidery.

These black shoulder bags are fully lined and are one of a kind.
These colourful and unique handmade bags are inspired by the Tahrouyt embroidered wraps made by the indigenous Amazigh women in the Sahara villages of southern Morocco. Neon coloured wool is used alongside metal beads and sequins to depict tribal identities and desert life. I purchased all the materials in Morocco, so they are the same ones used by the women.

Shipping Policy
Art prints and textile art pieces are shipped in a cello bag inside a board backed envelope.
Framed prints are wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in brown cardboard.
Bags are posted in plastic postal bags that are waterproof. Silk scarves are wrapped in tissue and shipped in a small package.
I offer combined shipping if you wish to purchase several items, you will not be charged separately.
I use the standard Irish An Post service which is untracked. There is an option at checkout for tracked shipping.
Prices for an envelope/package tracked are as follows:

Refund Policy
You are asked to email me if there is a problem with your order so I can try to rectify it quickly. Refunds are provided less shipping costs. I ask that you email me within 14 days of receiving your package stating the problem. The item will need to be returned in the same packaging, undamaged and the return shipping cost paid by you. I can then refund the cost of the item if the situation warrants it.
