These beautifully handcrafted pens with Celtic knot design inlaid with a contrasting coloured wood, and all work done by hand. These knots are complete loops that have no start or finish. They are said to represent eternity, whether this means loyalty, faith, friendship or love. These pens have been skillfully handmade from an ancient Irish Yew or bog oak. The Yew is steeped in Celtic folklore, the druids also knew the Yew as a sacred tree, while the bog oak is over 2000 years old having spent most of that time submerged and preserved in an Irish bog. What better item to represent Ireland and friendship.
Each pen has an optional handmade beech and mahogany trapazoid shaped box that can be engraved with a name and/or short message,

My name is Tom Larkin and I have been learning the craft of Woodturning for almost 40 years. I mostly use native Irish Woods and joinery offcuts on occasion. All items are handmade by myself, and each is unique. . I am always available to answer any queries you may have.
