Irish Traffic Jam wool painting
A beautiful once off wool painting of a sheep traffic jam on the country roads of Ireland. This piece has my own signature Irish cottage with 13 sheep. Amongst the Ireland landscape of the ocean, mountains and rolling hills. Don't forget the stone walls you see in many areas of Ireland. This piece has hand embroidery for final touches. To keep the price down and easy shipping, I stitched it to a foam board. You can hang it up just as it is or have it professionally framed.
What does a traffic jam look like here in Ireland? Well some jams are sheep, cows and the tractors.
This wool painting captures the humour of a traffic jam. I created this piece by wet felting, needle felting and hand embroidery.
This is the only one of its kind. This makes it a collectable piece of art. Irish heritage wool from the Kerry Woollen mills and a sheep farmer in Donegal wool was used.
Also lots of Merino fiber, surin silks and lamb lockets.
This wool painting is stitched onto a foam board for easy shipping. It has a hanger on the back. So you can instantly hang it up.
You also can take it to a professional framer and pick out your own frame. I do not provide a frame. The measurements of this painting not counting the board is 11 1/2 inches tall to tje longest point and across to the farthest part 14 inches.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for visiting my store. I live in a small village in the Southeast Ireland.
I love to work with wool sourced from Kerry woollen mills 1of the only 2 remaining working wool mills here in Ireland. I also Support local textile artist hand dyed wool from local Irish farmers as well. All of my pieces are made with 100% Irish wool. There are some colors or textiles I cannot purchase here. So, I do import a few, to add a final touch on certain pieces. I put my full heart and soul into each piece. They are all handmade by me. Every piece is an original piece of art, that takes many hours or days to create. I hope they bring you cheer and enjoyment.
Please keep all wool sculptures away from all children and pets. These are delicate pieces of art. Also animals have been known to try and eat the wool. For their safety and the sculptures keep away from pets.
I only ship out tracked package and on Mondays only. Thank you again to everyone supporting my store and love for crafts.
