Khaki hand-knitted hat with a lovely leaf shaped overlay in mixed orange, white and green colours.
This warm hat is perfect for autumn as it is what inspired it but will keep you warm all through winter as well.
Fits 54-56cm head circumference.
It is made with soft acrylic yarn making it machine washable up to 30°C and super comfortable to wear.
It goes really well with my Airy scarf pictured above.

Hi, I’m Aurore. I’m from Le Puy-en-Velay in sunny France. I grew up in a large, close-knit family. These days I’m a rural Co. Meath-based Mum of two, with a passion for nature, and making and sharing my art and crafts. I began to knit and crochet at the age of 6, learning from my mother – my teacher and inspiration. A professional seamstress, my Mum was really creative, knitting, crochet, painting, cardboard furniture… yes that’s a thing! When I was around 15 years old, we discovered polymer clay while in a craft shop and gave that a go. I really loved all the possibilities it offered for jewellery. We got ourselves some material, and a book for techniques and got started. I came to Ireland, had my first child and found myself knitting little hats, tops, booties for her, with friends and family encouraging me to make them for a wider audience. I did this for a little while, until my Mum was diagnosed, and then I stopped. During lockdown I started it again as I had more time and felt closer to my Mum that way. I’m inspired each and every day by the world around me, colours, textures and people. Most of all, I love to share my inspiration with others; be it creating for them or teaching my craft!
