Pin cushion

I came across the design for these lovely pin cushions in an old Woodturning training manual from the early 1900’s.  They are made from a variety of native Irish woods like elm, beech, yew and apple, small pieces rescued from the offcuts bin. Sizes are approx 8 cm diameter by 2.5 cm high with a 5.5 cm by 18mm cork insert.
