These beeswax candles are handmade in small batches at our honey farm with beeswax from our own Native Irish Black Honey Bees. These particular candles are dipped over and over to allow the layers of wax to build up. Beeswax is an eco-friendly, non toxic wax. It does not emit chemicals into the atmosphere and burns slowly with a warm glow. Some consumers have found it beneficial to their respiratory system. 12 hours burning time. About our Wildflower Honey: It consists of honey from a variety of wild flower blossoms in the Irish countryside, including sycamore, horse chestnut, hawthorn, blackberry blossom and white clover. It is collected by the bees in late spring and summer. Every batch can be slightly different in flavour. About Our Ivy Honey: It is collected by the bees from the blossom of the Ivy plant in Sept., Oct. and Nov. Customers find it to be helpful to the respiratory system. Good alternative to manuka honey. About our Wildflower Comb Honey: Collected by the bees from the same flowers as our wildflower honey. The difference is that we harvest and cut the combs straight from the hive, bypassing the extraction process. Consumers find that it can help with sinus issues. The honey just underneath the surface of the comb contains higher levels of pollen.
