A handmade wooden goblet, that beholds a beautiful medieval-Irish tradition... ☘️❤️☘️ In 17th century Ireland when a man fell in love with a woman, he carved a goblet to present to her. The gift was lovingly crafted with 2 captive rings, all from a single piece of wood. These 2 rings symbolised love & unity. At their wedding feast, they both drank from the goblet & thereafter kept it in a safe place. For so long as the rings remained unbroken, they would love each other forever. ☘️❤️☘️   Personalised with the bride & groom’s names & date of wedding. Text is engraved in the beautiful old Gaelic ‘Bunchló’ font, widely used until the mid 1900’s. Handmade in Ireland.
