  • The press is made of silicone and has two halves that clip together.
  • To use it, you open the press and pour liquid beeswax onto one half of the mold.
  • Then you close the press quickly and apply pressure over the full length of the mold.
  • After a few moments, you can remove the finished beeswax sheet from the press and trim it to the desired size.
  • The press can be washed with warm, soapy water to clean it.
  • The silicone press is designed to produce foundation sheets with an accurate cell shape, which is important for bees to build their comb.
  • The sheets produced by the press will be half as thick again as commercially manufactured foundation.
  • The press can make sheets up to a size of 430mm x 220mm and can produce up to 10 BS deep sheets, weighing approximately 750g.
