The press is made of silicone and has two halves that clip together.
To use it, you open the press and pour liquid beeswax onto one half of the mold.
Then you close the press quickly and apply pressure over the full length of the mold.
After a few moments, you can remove the finished beeswax sheet from the press and trim it to the desired size.
The press can be washed with warm, soapy water to clean it.
The silicone press is designed to produce foundation sheets with an accurate cell shape, which is important for bees to build their comb.
The sheets produced by the press will be half as thick again as commercially manufactured foundation.
The press can make sheets up to a size of 430mm x 220mm and can produce up to 10 BS deep sheets, weighing approximately 750g.
