It is finished with picots which enhance the zig-zag edging.
The yarn is sourced from our own herd of alpacas which we keep at Kilcrohane on the beautiful Sheep’s Head Peninsula in West Cork.

Crocheted with rows of ‘V’ stitches divided by clusters, this scarf is highly unusual, tapering from one end with a zig-zag edging enhanced with picots.

Kilcrohane Alpacas is situated on The Sheep’s Head Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland. The herd was established in 2012 with an initial pair of females. The herd has now increased to fifteen beautiful animals, nine of which were imported from France. Their incredible fleece is processed into a soft, durable and silky yarn which is also hypoallergenic. The yarn is hand crocheted to bring out the best of its properties.
