The Emigrant's Nail keyring is a beautiful tribute to the enduring spirit of the Irish global family.
Inspired by the historic stories of those who left Irish shores on the famine ships, it was tradional for departing blacksmiths,builders and tradesmen to forge a final, heavy square-head nail to take with them-a physical token of home, hearth, and craftmanship they left behind.
Every single keyring is forged using traditional anvil techniques and industrial dark finish protected with a traditional beeswax coat, making it a tactile, heavy duty piece of functional art built to last a lifetime.

CANCELLATION AND RETURN
Cooling Off Period
In accordance with statute and regulation, you may cancel or return your order at any time prior to delivery of the products to you and for a period of 14 days after the delivery of the products to you without any reason (cooling off period). In that event, you must notify the Seller of your cancellation and arrange to return the products to them no later than 14 days after notifying them of your cancellation. The cost of returning such goods is a matter for you the customer.
If you cancel your order, the seller will refund to you the total amount paid by you in respect of the product together with the standard delivery charge on receipt of the goods from you, or on receipt of evidence that the goods have been returned to them, whichever is the earlier. If you have not yet received your order, then the seller will be obliged to refund the amount paid within 30 days together with the standard delivery charge.
The seller shall reimburse you using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction.
The cooling-off period does not apply to certain purchases.
Examples are:
· Personalised or custom-made products.
· Products with a short shelf life that spoil quickly.
· Products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons.
Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, please contact the seller as soon as possible to arrange a replacement or refund.
DAMAGE/DEFECTS TO PRODUCT ON RETURN
If you cancel your order and return goods in accordance with the provisions of these Terms, you are obliged to take reasonable care of the goods prior to returning them. You are also liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling of the goods beyond that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. In the event that there is damage to the goods on return from you, the seller is entitled to withhold such portion of the refund due to you as is commensurate with the reduction in the value of the product by reason of the handling of the goods by you beyond that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Each cross is individually hand-forged using traditional blacksmith techniques in my workshop near Caragh Lake, County Kerry. The ironwork is securely mounted into a unique beach stone hand-selected from the shores of Cromane and Rossbeigh.
Because every stone is shaped by the Atlantic ocean and every cross is hammered by hand, no two pieces are ever identical. A deeply meaningful gift for a new home, a wedding, or for loved ones abroad looking for a genuine, tangible connection to Ireland.
