Turquoise curve pendant handcrafted in sterling silver using a genuine 18mm by 13mm turquoise cabochon, then hung on a 46cm sterling silver belcher chain. Turquoise was associated with connections to the spiritual world, psychic sensitivity, and protection from harm and negative energy. The turquoise gemstone is the symbol of friendship and brings peace to the home and good fortune to the owner.

Having worked in metal design since 1977, I have developed a unique range of handcrafted, modern Irish jewellery, with influences taken from a rich ancient Celtic heritage.
Each piece of jewellery is original in design and individually handcrafted from raw materials such as sterling silver, yellow gold, brass, copper and alpaca silver, using only a select range of hand-tools to create each piece. The hand-chiselled scroll effects and shining hammered finishes are an age-old tradition of Celtic jewellery design passed down through the centuries and now almost a thing of the past.
