 The Great Pollet Arch is Ireland’s largest sea arch. This spectacular rock formation was created under the constant influence of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Great Pollet Sea Arch is one of the most stunning sights on the rugged Donegal coastline. Located on the eastern side of the Fanad Peninsula the Great Pollet Sea Arch is one of the largest and most impressive sea arches in Ireland and is an awesome detour off the Fanad Head stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way.
In recent years the Great Pollet Sea Arch has become notoriously difficult to access but the magnificent sea arch is more than worth the effort!
A New pathway has been built to Ireland's largest sea arch.

Capturing moments that mean the world to us! I recently painted this serene scene of my husband and his friend against the backdrop of the majestic Foyle River in Derry, Northern Ireland. The gentle ripples of the water against the traditional Curragh boats create such a captivating contrast, don't you think?
This painting holds a special place in my heart as it commemorates the incredible day when my husband and his friend crafted their very own Curragh, joining a fleet of these beautiful vessels for a grand launch on the Foyle. It was a momentous occasion for our community, with Curraghs of all shapes and sizes lining up along the riverbanks.
The sense of pride and camaraderie that filled the air that day was truly palpable. As I put brush to canvas, I couldn't help but be inspired by the bond between friends, the beauty of our surroundings, and the rich history of our beloved Derry.
Here's to capturing memories and celebrating the things that make life truly wonderful!

This is a beautiful stretch of sandy beach from Portsalon pier to Knockalla in Fanad Co Donegal Ireland an amazing scenic drive. It has been voted the second most beautiful beach in the world. It is a safe place for swimming and surfing, and it backs onto a very fine 18 Hole Golf Course Portsalon. Also boasts a couple of caravan parks. And is a widely known holiday destination.

Fanad Lighthouse

Shining a light since 1817, this working lighthouse is now open to the public for lighthouse tours. Situated on the northern coast of the Fanad Peninsula in North Donegal, the lighthouse is a signature discovery point on the Wild Atlantic Way - a world-famous coastal route that spans seven of Ireland’s counties, taking in some breathtaking scenery along the way.
 
One of the world's most beautiful and photographed lighthouses on one of Ireland’s headlands most northerly headlands in Fanad Co Donegal Ireland.
 
The lighthouse has been keeping watch on marine traffic since 1817.
 
In 1817 the Saldhana was wrecked in Lough Swilly with the loss of 254 souls with the only survivor the ship's parrot.
 
It was after this tragedy that a lighthouse was built and was first lit on St Patrick's Day 1817. It is now a holiday destination with apartments for rent.

Exploring the vibrant and unexpected in New Zealand! On my recent holiday, I stumbled upon a unique inspiration – a wheel repurposed as a postbox, adorned with bold and lively colors.  Capturing this charming scene was a delightful challenge, and I'm excited to share it with you all!  While in Canterbury, I also discovered Brooksdale, a picturesque farmstead nestled south of Lake Rubicon.

One of many of the  beautiful beaches in Fanad is Drumnacraig. A stunning beach to stroll on.  Situated on Fanad Peninsula is one of Donegal's many hidden beaches. Situated north of Portsalon and below the Great Pollet Sea Arch.  Also in  Irish Drom na Carraige. which is to be Back of the Rocks.

. There's something magical about the process of baking, especially when it involves the sweet allure of raspberry buns. As I pulled these golden delights from the oven, I couldn't resist the urge to capture their essence on canvas. The journey from the mixing bowl to the palette began, and a new culinary masterpiece took shape.  I love to bake and cook, so when I baked my Raspberry Buns well I decided well why not turn them into an oil painting

My favourite fruit is Strawberries. And when I put them in my glass and washed them in my tea towel once again my head says why not get my paint brushes out and easel and created my oil painting.
