A child’s first Holy Communion is a very special occasion. It is an important rite of passage in a young person’s spiritual life, one which makes their relationship with God closer and more personal.
In terms of First Communion gift etiquette, you’ll want to keep the selection in line with the spiritual importance of the day. Decorated on one side is their name and the date of their First Holy Communion – this can be the full date or just the year. It is decorated with a floral border surrounding an illustration of the Eucharist. On the other side again is the child’s name and an image of the Dove of Peace. There is also a verse of a prayer associated with the The Sacrament of the Eucharist:

Our personalised 3″ (7cm) ceramic ornaments are individually hand-crafted using a technique that ensures the print will last a lifetime – this means no peeling, fading or scratching.
THE PACKAGING
The beautiful gift-box has a dual purpose – protection and display. It has foam insert and soft fold-over cover cloth which adds to the quality and luxuriousness of the piece. The gift-box and makes the item a suitable gift when gifted anytime throughout the year and especially when outside the holiday season.
Our ceramics and print method are handcrafted so there may be slight differences. Hung with ribbon/cord. Ribbon colour may vary. Ornaments come wrapped in tissue paper and presented in a jute burlap bag. Christmas motif on gift-bag may be any one of six designs. Please also note: Whilst we do our best to ensure accurate product images, we cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product. This is due to photography conditions, and that every monitor and mobile display has different settings that effect colour and brightness for the viewer.

Due to the difference in item weights, shipping costs are going to vary from region to region, that is why shipping cannot be included in the product price.

A characteristic of the quality of these products is the weight of them (you’ll know you’re holding something special). These pieces can therefore be more expensive to ship than other items

If the goods have a problem relating to the quality of the product such as a mis-print (if its our fault) or is damaged before delivery, then a photograph as well as description of the problem should be sent to us via email or telephone outlining the problem and we will arrange the return of the said goods. Please remember to include your original invoice number and the name your order was placed under.
Any problem with an order should be outlined within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
Failure to inform SurnameCrest of a problem within 24 hours of receiving the goods will mean the order is deemed to have been accepted and checked.
If the problem relates to a production issue at SurnameCrest.com then a re-print of the goods may be offered to rectify the quality issue. Because every product is custom-made to your specifications, if the order has already been produced SurnameCrest retains the right to solely offer a re-print when seeking to rectify any problem with an order.
