I am a visual artist inspired by my surroundings, the environment and nature. I use acrylic, oils and occasionally pastels. Recently I have veered more towards mixed media, using modelling paste or a glue-gun to bring a 3D element to my paintings. I am an active member of Laois Arthouse Collective since 2019.
I had my own solo exhibition entitled “Hey Venus” in Cafe Latte, Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise, Co. Laois in June 2019. I have my second upcoming solo exhibition in Abbeyleix Library, Abbeyleix, Co Laois in March 2021.
I took part in a Group Exhibition with Laois Arthouse Collective in the Arthouse, Stradbally as part of Culture Night 2020.
I took part in the group online exhibition “Narrating the new normal” as part of Birr Vintage and Arts Festival in August 2020.
I regularly take part in a pop up art exhibition in the Townhall, Newbridge.
I was co-curator and an exhibiting artist of the Laois Arthouse Collective exhibition as part of Culture Night 2020 at the Arthouse, Stradbally, Co. Laois.
In 2015 until 2017 I was the founder and organiser of the Shabby Chic Club Portlaoise. During that time I organised furniture up cycling classes, craft classes, took part in various craft fairs and in November 2016 I organised and ran a pop up craft shop in the run up to Christmas.
