Veg Grower Pack
Healthy vegetables start with healthy soil. The Better Plants Veg Grower Pack gives your garden everything it needs to produce strong, nutritious crops throughout the growing season — whether you’re growing in raised beds, a kitchen garden or an allotment.
What’s in the pack:
- 1 x Seaweed 5ltr bucket — worked into the soil before planting to condition the structure, retain moisture and feed the beneficial microbes that make nutrients available to your plants
- 1 x Organic Soil Enrichment Pellets 10ltr — slow-release organic NPK that feeds your vegetables steadily for up to 90 days
- 1 x Organic Vegetable Food 1ltr — a powerful foliar spray that boosts growth, improves germination and strengthens plants against stress, pests and disease
How to use: Work the granular seaweed and pellets into your soil before planting at 100g per square metre. Once seedlings are established, spray liquid seaweed onto leaves every 2 weeks throughout the growing season. Reapply pellets mid-season for heavy feeding crops like brassicas.
Why it works:
- Granular seaweed transforms heavy soils into light, fertile growing medium
- Pellets deliver a balanced, slow release of nutrients with no risk of burning roots
- Liquid Veg feed boosts seed germination and speeds up early plant growth
- Suitable for all vegetables — brassicas, root veg, salads, beans and more
- 100% natural and organic — safe for children, pets and wildlife
- All products sourced and produced in Ireland
Why foliar feeding works: Plants can absorb nutrients through their leaves up to 10 times faster than through their roots. Spraying Vegetable feed directly onto your leaves every two weeks gives your plants a rapid boost of bioactive nutrients, natural growth hormones and trace elements that strengthen immunity, improve resistance to pests and disease and visibly improve the colour and vigour of your crops. Cold pressing preserves the full range of natural compounds in the seaweed — unlike heat-processed liquid feeds, which destroy many of the most beneficial nutrients.
How to use: Work the granular seaweed and pellets into your soil before planting at 100g per square metre. Once seedlings are established, spray liquid seaweed onto leaves every 2 weeks throughout the growing season. For best results, apply in the early morning or evening rather than in direct midday sun. Reapply pellets mid-season for heavy-feeding crops like brassicas, courgettes, and kale.
Suitable for:
- All brassicas — cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale
- Root vegetables — carrots, parsnips, beetroot, turnips
- Salad leaves — lettuce, spinach, rocket, chard
- Legumes — peas, beans, mangetout
- Alliums — onions, garlic, leeks
- Courgettes, squash and pumpkins
- Herbs — both annual and perennial

We source all our seaweed from Irish suppliers and make sure they are a 100% Natural product. We have been using seaweed products in our garden for years and found that there were a lot of products on the market that did not really do what they would claim to do, that they had a lot of chemicals in them and some were so watered down that the goodness was gone out of the seaweed.
