I am based in Killarney a location renowned for the beauty of its scenery.
In 2002 when my daughters had finished college and had flown the nest I took early retirement from my work as a science teacher. I was then able to spend much of my time oudoors in the neighbouring National Park and indulge in my passion for painting.
Soon I was invited to have a solo exhibition in a nearby gallery and a new career was born.
I love the feeling of peace and tranquility and oneness with nature that comes from just being in a beautiful natural environment.
I try and recreate and enhance that feeling in my painting so that when you hang it in your living space you will share that same joy and contentment.
