Walsh Irish Knitwear

My name is Teresa Robb owner of an Irish knitwear business called Walsh Irish Knitwear. I am based in Portstewart on the Causeway coast of Northern Ireland. In my home studio I design and create luxury knitted accessories. Growing up during the troubles I learnt my creative skills of knitting and sewing from my mother, and my entrepreneurial skills from my Nanny, who, at the young age of 23 found herself widowed with two young daughters. She set about opening and running her own grocery shop for many years in the heart of Belfast and through the very worst of the troubles. From a very young age I worked in her shop. I watched and learnt from my Nanny. She was Mary Walsh. I went on to University where I graduated as a geography teacher. I continue to work as a teacher in Bushmills home of the famous Irish whiskey. Walsh Irish Knitwear was born out of my love of knitting and creating beautiful accessories. I design the products I love to wear. I have sourced the best quality Italian merino wool making my products timeless luxury that can be kept and worn for many years.

Wood Artefacts

Uday Prayer & Meditation bench is my main focus in Wood Artefacts. The folding and fixed models are available. This is an ideal assistive device to support your prayer & meditation practice. The bench is handmade in Ireland from locally sourced wood and is polished to a smooth finish. The standard size of the stool is approx 17”(43cms) length x 6”(15cms) wide x 7.5”(18cms) height. The weight of the ‘Uday Prayer & Meditation stool’ is 1.13kg Pen/pencil stands, cell phone stands, spatulas, mini tables, designer shopping bags(cotton cloth), small ladies wallets are also some of the products that are available.

I started my journey with my Crafts/Art last March as I finally found time for my passion that I'd postponed for too long. *I make jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, earrings). Most of it is made from faux suede leather cord, hemp cord, cotton wax cord, wooden and metal beads,  natural gemstones & glass/ceramic beads, metal charms. *I make handmade, natural ingredients soaps. Moisturizing, infused with essential oils, vanilla, citrus, sweet almond, coconut, shea butter, loofah sponge, coffee beans, poppy seeds and other lovely natural ingredients. *I also paint original abstracts on canvas (oil & acrylic). No Harm Farm

No Harm Farm, an artisan food producer based in Kilkee, Co. Clare.   No Harm Farm is a sanctuary for biodiversity where magic is harvested everyday. As well as harvesting foraged ingredients in a sustainable way,  on this tiny small holding on the Loop Head peninsula we grow speciality garlic to produce Black Garlic, which is made by taking fresh garlic and ‘aging’ the garlic, causing it to become soft, sweet and jet black throughout. The resulting ‘Black Garlic’ is more mellow in flavour, with none of the “whiffy” odour that fresh garlic has!  It can be eaten on it’s own as a snack, or used in a myriad of recipes. Black Garlic is also nutritionally different from fresh garlic.  The aging process causes the garlic to become higher in protein and bioflavanoids. Scientific studies have shown black garlic to be wonderful for the immune system, for heart health, for gut health and also as a form of protection against several cancers. Black Garlic is not new, but has been eaten in Asia for centuries. I grow garlic here in West Clare without the use of artificial fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides.  It is aged and ripened without additives or preservatives, and sent to you in plastic free, compostable packaging. As well as black garlic, I also create other, small batch artisan food products such as Wild Atlantic Seaweed salt and Irish Flower Salt. All No Harm Farm products are 100% Vegan Friendly
