Gift a little Boulder

My name is Toni Guinan and I am a self taught artist working in the medium of natural stone, wood and recycled glass based in Co.Offaly. I love the creative side of life and my main inspiration comes from Mother Nature herself. All my creations are made with passion and each piece is unique. I try to approach each piece with a desire to leave each stone fully in tact and then use arrangement and sometimes a little colour to bring the piece to life. I love to work on commissions and bespoke pieces transforming beautiful natural stone, wood, recycled glass and metal into a piece that will be treasured.   Warm regards Toni I

Rodgerson Handcraft

Hello and thanks for visiting my shop! Welcome to my sewed products and knitted creations! I’m an avid knitter and sewer, which comes as no surprise as I’ve grown up in a home filled with sewing machines and knitting needles. My mum made clothes for myself and my sister. My Aunts Shirley, Eileen, and Katie and both Granny’s Isobel and Catherine were all talented home sewers and knitters. To say these skills are in my blood would be an understatement. I love the idea that items we sew and knit can become treasured items. I love bright, colourful and fun fabrics. I hope this translates through the fabrics I choose in creating my post breast surgery pillows, car accessory bags and table accessories. Being part of the this community and having a shop here allows me to have the world at my doorstep and I am so grateful for the platform it has given me. I pride myself on the quality of my work. I hope you enjoy my sewed and knitted creations as much as I’ve enjoy making them. Thanks so much for reading this biography, Mary Rodge

Enchanted Crafts of Cork

Hi everyone and welcome to my little store here on shop in Ireland, my name is Leanne and just over a year ago I started my little page and shared it to the shop in Ireland group with a little bit of my story and the support I got blew me away and gave me the confidence I needed to carry on with my crafting journey, I’ve been so blessed to have so many wonderful customers come through my shop in Ireland store and I’m forever grateful. After spending over twenty years working as a chef I suffered some personal Injuries which led me into a spiraling cycle of depression, chronic pain and cross addictions, in 2016 i also lost my dad and after loosing my mam at a young age the loss of my dad was to much and I feel it triggered my awakening, some say a breakdown but i like to call it my breakthrough and my journey on the spiritual path started, I’ve battled hard to overcome my addictions and nearly five years later im sober and i still find everyday is a school day getting to know who I truly am and working hard to unlearn past behaviours, healing from bullying, being the family scapegoat which lead me down so many wrong paths and realizing that I’m actually just learning to live and learning who I truly am, at the start of my journey Crystal’s found their way into my life, they have helped me so much that i wanted to share them in some unique ways with everyone in anyway I could, I really feel the universe has a way of guiding us to these amazing healing stones that mother nature creates and for me they have helped me more then I have the words to explain so i started to create with them, I use them in my candles and jewellery and since a crystal has the power to hold a memory I work with them, cleansing, clearing and filling them with the best intentions possible, i use sage, palo santo, sound therapy and the moon to clear and charge them before they are used in my candles which are a little unusual in themselves and i use a clear cruelty free vegan wax and a mixture of oils to cleanse and clear negative energies and bring calmness, scents like lavender, camomile, sage, sea salt and palo santo. I love chatting with customers and helping intuitively to make that special healing gift for them and i am very active on my Facebook page where I use it to share my growth, positive affirmations, spiritual experiences and lots of give aways so please feel free to have a read of some my reviews and reach out if I can help you create that special gift or if you’d like some advice on what Crystal may help your situation, come say hi over on my page x Thankyou so much for your time and your custom, wishing you a life of love, abundance and Blessing’s Leanne x

Magnetic Mobility

Our aim at Magnetic Mobility is to provide you with the means necessary to live your best life pain free. We believe that every person manages their pain differently and we hope to help you manage it better. Over the next few years we will be launching products specifically designed to make your everyday life easier and move you away from pain so that you can live your best life. Our Story Hello! We are Ciara and Judith Jacob. We started our journey into the world of business with an idea in 2020. Having both worked in the medical field for many many years ( a combined and slightly frightening 40+ years) we both had many, many achy joints, bad backs, creaky knees, all the usual war wounds of working in healthcare. Basically between us we felt like a box of lego, in bits! So after 5 back surgeries, 1 shoulder surgery, a diagnosis of osteoporosis and arthritis and while heading into a future with the promise of impending knee surgery, Judith and I decided to take a side step and use our personal experience of pain to help and empower others who also refuse to let pain stop them living their life to the max. During the chaos and the stress of 2020, in what can only be described as the busiest year of my healthcare career, where I needed to be on my A game every single day, Brain fog struck! Yes, after 5 years of being Migraine free I had 2 consecutive months of Migraine attacks, leading to severe brain fog, utter exhaustion and constant nausea. My Mum gave me a Magnetic Bracelet and within 2 weeks I was fully functional again! I couldn’t believe it! I wanted to shout it from the rooftops! Judith and I decided to test out the range of Magnetic bracelets. Judith has had 5 spinal surgeries over the past 10 years, had arthritis in her back and woke up feeling like a 90 year old every single day. We had recently taken up hiking, (because she’s a bit stubborn about letting her pain stopping her) but the hiking was causing the cartilage in her knees to be unhappy. She was diagnosed with runners’ knees and the possibility of needing knee surgery once the hospitals opened up fully. So, we sourced another Magnetic Bracelet and within 2 weeks her knee had stopped creaking and she no longer felt like a 90 year old! That was it, idea seeded! We wanted to get one for everyone we knew who had daily pain! But we couldn’t find any pretty, well made bracelets to suit our style. So we started researching, and trying out different suppliers. Eventually we found the perfect combination of style and function made with excellent craftsmanship. Now we are ready to share with the world this incredible feeling of relief and freedom from pain! We invite you to look around, find your perfect style, and sign up to our newsletter so you can join us on our journey over the next few years!

Mini Inish

Hi, I'm Ciaran! I'm a native of Derry City, dad of one, keen amateur sportsman and love Irish history and literature! I create these unique pieces (in my own kitchen!) with the aim of highlighting the incredibly rich heritage of ancient Ireland, with a particular interest in my own backyard of Donegal. I have a background in model making and sculpting and have tried to recreate the majesty of our heritage sites as faithfully as possible, with each being completely created and painted by my own hands. These are the beginning of a range I am creating to showcase the lesser known hidden gems of Irish heritage, bringing pieces of ancient Ireland into people's homes. Created using locally sourced paints and plaster, I pride myself on delivering a piece that is totally unique and holds up to close inspection and scrutiny. Having grown up in a proud Irish household where indigenous art and literature were highly valued, I have been interested in our ancient history and ancestors for as long as I can remember. I am so happy to be able to create these pieces and share my love for our cultural heritage with others of the same mind. These pieces look, feel and weigh like genuine stone, you will not find these available anywhere else on Earth!

Veronica Nicholson Photography

I bought a camera in 1984 and I’ve been making photographs ever since. My work is a creative response to where I live, and is also an exploration of the photographic medium – I’m constantly looking for new ways to express what I see and experience. Since 2020 I’ve been recording so-called ‘weeds’ using camera-less techniques of scannergrams and cyanotypes, bringing to light the incredible biodiversity under our feet and highlighting the profound healing power of Nature. I’ve exhibited my artwork extensively nationally and internationally, and in 2023 some of my series ‘Weeds’ has been shortlisted in the Royal Photographic Society 165th International Photography Exhibition. The shortlist was narrowed down from 5205 photographers to 416 from 41 countries. My photographs are in the collections of the National Gallery of Ireland, Office of Public Works, Northern Ireland Civil Service at Stormont, Limerick County Council and Offaly County Council as well as many private collections. My book ‘Observing Offaly’ was published in 2016.
