Kenny Bones Woodcrafts

My passion for woodworking began about 6 years ago when I started carving wood spirits and spoons as a way to manage stress. I wanted a hobby that would allow me to use my hands and promote a mindful engagement with a piece of work. From there I continued to develop my skills, trying out new tools and techniques and making gifts and art pieces for friends and family. I started to get a lot of interest and questions on social media and so I decided to start this small business to sell the pieces that I make. Every time I sell a piece it makes me smile to think that something I created has been invited in to someone’s home, so thank you for your interest in my creations and I hope you find something that makes you smile.

Oyster Tales

We believe that every shell has a tale to tell. Our oysters are from the west coast of Ireland, picked from the waters of the world-famous “Galway Bay” part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Shells are genuinely one-of-a-kind gifts because no two are alike. They are tumbled by the wild Atlantic Ocean waves and shaped by the changing seasons, resulting in varying sizes and shapes. We work with what nature has given us. Variations such as; growth marks, ragged edges, chipped backs and barnacles make each one special. Every shell is individually picked, cleaned, prepared, hand painted and decorated by our artists at our studio in Galway, Ireland. The interior is finished with a smooth white or pearl coating and painted gold edging. Depending on the design, the backs may be fully gilded or left natural with hand-painted gold trim. A clear semi-gloss coat enriches the shell’s colour and texture. The satin ribbon can be removed to display the shell on a table or as a trinket dish. Whether you receive this as a gift or purchase it for yourself as a decoration, a memento of a trip, or for friends or family to mark an occasion or relationship - you are becoming part of this Oyster’s tale.

AlinaLauraAntonArt

Hi, my name is Alina, im an Artist based in Naas, Ireland. I love to paint a variety of themes, as birds, flowers, animals, wildlife, horses, cows, landscapes, and recently started to explore sunsets, sunsets on sea with boats, and still life. I love learn new skills and improve my artwork. Im originally from Romania, and come to live in Ireland 15 years ago. I have finished High School Of Art - Sculpture Major in Romania. During my young years I participated in many competitions, and art camps, and feel very thankful to have participated in National Sculpture Competition, where i got 4th place. I have always love to paint though also enjoy the side of sculpture. I have painted all my life, since little, parents and sister being artists as well, and we all have different styles. When i arrived to Ireland i have started paint again, with few brakes along the years, trying to accommodate my passion with my day to day job. I have sold painting around the world, and is always exciting to send to different locations and connect with the customers. I am hopping that through my art to bring joy, smiles, a splash of color, emotion and calmness to your home. I love to paint animals most, to catch their emotions and loving nature, i get lost into small details to recreate every hair, whisker or wrinkle on them :). Exploring different techniques and themes, i enjoy painting sunsets, sunsets on sea, landscapes, and now exploring still life and more. I'm thankful and happy when others love and enjoy my work, when it brings you joy and happiness and stirs an emotion. Thank you, as your support helps me grow as an artist and to achieve my dreams, also helps me go by in times of need. Im a single mom of a lovely boy, who i hope he will enjoy painting as much as i do. This Year i have participated at Kilteel St. Brigid’s Arts Weekend, and will be more exhibitions during the year. I have joined last year a lovely group named Naas Art group where we participate to events and exhibitions. She was able to decipher my ramblings as to what I wanted and created something we will cherish. Calamity Jane Creations

The Seaglass for Calamity Jane Creations, is sourced from beachcombing with family and friends at Seaham beach in the North East of England.  The  recycled seaglass  originated from a bottle factory and glass works that closed in 1921, it has been tumbled by the sea for 100 years.  I started out by making pictures for family and friends for different occasions.  Each picture is unique and I can make customised pictures on request.
