Cuige Jewellery

I made myself a keyring from one of my favourite of the pre decimal Irish types of coins (the half crown) in 2022 and from there it began. Others asked me to make key rings from coins that they like and I started to make keyrings as a hobby. I started making pieces of jewellery with coins and continue to try and think of different ways to create with vintage coins to give them new life and keep part of our history alive. In 2024 I started working with silver and copper clay. All of my hand made fine silver jewellery is made with 999 fine silver clay. I also use copper clay to sculpt some of the copper pieces. Both types of clay are 100% recycled material. I then started making handmade jewellery using recycled 925 silver and copper and this is my main form of creating new pieces now. I am really enjoying the learning journey!

Welcome to my world of creativity! My name is Jacinta Callaghan, and I am delighted to share a glimpse of my journey with you. Nestled in the picturesque village of Kerrykeel, Co Donegal, I thrive in an environment that fuels my passion for both hairdressing and art. For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by the world of art. From drawing and painting to knitting, crocheting, sewing, baking, and cooking, creativity has always been at the heart of my life. Over the years, this passion has only grown stronger, allowing me to explore and master various artistic mediums. The lockdown period two years ago was a pivotal time for me. It offered me the precious gift of time—time to dive deeper into my artistic pursuits and create a unique line of merchandise. During this period, I also ventured into the beautiful landscapes around me, capturing moments with my camera that would later inspire my paintings. While I enjoy working with watercolours and acrylics, my heart now belongs to oil painting. I am thrilled to dedicate my Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays entirely to my art. These days are filled with the joy of painting and designing a variety of merchandise. My artworks have found their way onto mugs, chopping boards, coasters, slate, cushions, key rings, and baubles, each piece reflecting a part of my creative journey. From Thursday to Saturday, I return to my other passion—hairdressing. In my salon, I embrace the opportunity to connect with my clients, bringing out their best through the art of hairdressing. This balance between art and hairdressing allows me to enjoy the best of both worlds, enriching my life with diverse forms of creativity. Thank you for visiting my page. *** Luxurious Soy Wax Candle *** Large scented candles in a beautiful frosted glass. 30cl Candles with aprox 45 hour burn time 100% Soy wax. 100% Hand poured in Tuosist on the Ring of Beara (with the help of my two young children) and a choice of 9 unique fragrances available. Soy candles are cleaner , burn longer than paraffin and other waxes.  I also prefer to use lead free cotton wicks. I really hope you love our candles as much as we enjoy making them.

The Sleepy Stars Store

Sleepy Stars Ltd is based in Swords, Co. Dublin and Kelly Geoghegan is a Paediatric Sleep Consultant. The consultancy has been going for four years and in 2020 we set up The Sleepy Stars Store as a separate entity under the umbrella of Sleepy Stars. We sell products that Kelly would recommend through her 20+ years’ experience of childcare and tweaked with her input on each before manufacture. Every order is packed and posted from Swords via An Post on the next working day. About Kelly: Kelly has 20+ years’ experience working in childcare. She is a qualified Maternity Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, First Aid Instructor and CPO. Kelly is a member of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants and also the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants. Over the past number of years Kelly has travelled the world working with children of all ages in varied roles. At the beginning of 2018 Kelly decided to stay in Ireland and help parents who have infants with sleep issues. Kelly is so fortunate that many of the parents she has helped over the years have recommended her to friends, family, co-workers etc. who are also praying for a good night’s sleep and Kelly is kept busy as a result. She hasn’t needed to advertise because her business has grown from word of mouth – not many can say that. In 2018 Kelly helped 111 children and families to a good night’s sleep; children from the ages of 12 weeks to 5 years old. In 2019 Kelly helped 222 children become Sleepy Stars; in 2020 it was 277 Sleepy Stars. 2021 is seeing over 100 enquiries a week and currently 82 Sleepy Stars up to the end of March.
