Welcome to my world of creativity! My name is Jacinta Callaghan, and I am delighted to share a glimpse of my journey with you. Nestled in the picturesque village of Kerrykeel, Co Donegal, I thrive in an environment that fuels my passion for both hairdressing and art. For as long as I can remember, I have been captivated by the world of art. From drawing and painting to knitting, crocheting, sewing, baking, and cooking, creativity has always been at the heart of my life. Over the years, this passion has only grown stronger, allowing me to explore and master various artistic mediums. The lockdown period two years ago was a pivotal time for me. It offered me the precious gift of time—time to dive deeper into my artistic pursuits and create a unique line of merchandise. During this period, I also ventured into the beautiful landscapes around me, capturing moments with my camera that would later inspire my paintings. While I enjoy working with watercolours and acrylics, my heart now belongs to oil painting. I am thrilled to dedicate my Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays entirely to my art. These days are filled with the joy of painting and designing a variety of merchandise. My artworks have found their way onto mugs, chopping boards, coasters, slate, cushions, key rings, and baubles, each piece reflecting a part of my creative journey. From Thursday to Saturday, I return to my other passion—hairdressing. In my salon, I embrace the opportunity to connect with my clients, bringing out their best through the art of hairdressing. This balance between art and hairdressing allows me to enjoy the best of both worlds, enriching my life with diverse forms of creativity. Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Marta and I come from Milan. At the moment, I am based in Dun Laoghaire ! My passion for art and design started during my university studies, maybe because the years of mathematical studies had been so abstract, hyperbolic, topological! In case you’re wondering just how I came up with the name, ChiGiu, I have my daughters to thanks. We were talking about my new jewelry online shop that was in the works. What to name it … mmmhh…hmmmm…that’s when they called out “How about ChiGiu ?” The start of each name ! I make only small batches, which means that not only it is better for the environment because it is not mass-produced, but also that every piece is unique to the owner. No more going out and meeting someone that is wearing the same thing as you !

*** Luxurious Soy Wax Candle *** Large scented candles in a beautiful frosted glass. 30cl Candles with aprox 45 hour burn time 100% Soy wax. 100% Hand poured in Tuosist on the Ring of Beara (with the help of my two young children) and a choice of 9 unique fragrances available. Soy candles are cleaner , burn longer than paraffin and other waxes.  I also prefer to use lead free cotton wicks. I really hope you love our candles as much as we enjoy making them.
